Lots of stuff happening but not of the “cheery-I-should-share-this-on-my-blog” variety. My boyfriend’s mother passed away so there was a bit of saddness and visiting associated with that, although everyone concerned agrees that it was for the best it was still a sad event.

Hmm what else .. had a couple of great sessions .. including a new guy who had me skewer his testicles with a 4+ inch needle. THAT is always entertaining for my inner sadist. (grin) Yes that was delightfully entertaining indeed!

Hmm let’s see .. what else has been happening?  Oh! I did a new photoshoot with one of my all time favorite photographers and I love a lot of these pics. In fact I promise I will share a small gallery as soon as I get home from Florida.

I leave tonight to head to Fort Lauderdale to teach at “Beyond Leather 6″!  Iam very much looking forward to checking out this event because I have heard some marvelous things about it!  I will be teaching three classes in their rope track:

FUN WITH “FLOOR WORK”: Sure tying people to fancy dungeon equipment can be a blast when you are at an event or a club, but what if you don’t have any of that in your living room at home? And yes, suspension work is hot and sexy as hell (not to mention dangerous) but if you aren’t ready for that quite yet what else can you do with some rope & your imagination? There are dozens of ways to have fun with someone when all you have is some rope and an open piece of floor. In this workshop we will explore as many different positions and uses for them (wink) as we are able in the time allotted. Bring a partner if you have one, your rope bag and a mat, pillow or blanket for working on the floor more comfortably. If you are single looking to tie or be tied come on down and we will do our best to pair folks up for practice purposes.

BINDING THE JEWELS – COCK AND BALL BONDAGE: The male genitalia lends itself beautifully to many types of bondage and it is a wonderful way to remind him that YOU are totally in charge. In this class we will explore some basic safety info and then do a hands on demo of some of my favorite cock & ball bondage ties. It is suitable for all skill levels.  Please bring a subject to work on and some fairly thin rope, cord or twine. If you do not have rope I will bring extra to give to you. Also, if any unattached males show up I will be seeking volunteers from the audience to demonstrate on.

FACE AND HEAD BONDAGE: One of the quickest ways to send some bottoms flying is to apply your bondage to their head or face.  I find that it really draws on all the senses since it allows you to limit their sight and muffle their moans. They can hear the rope whisper past their ears as you work and smell the scent and possibly even taste the rope, creating a delicious smorgasbord of sensation! But the question is where or how to start with no obvious anchor points other than the neck?  (Sorry, this class doesn’t include breath play!) Please bring at least 15 to 20 feet of thin-ish smooth rope similar to paracord or thin linen rope and we will experiment with several ways to do head and face bondage. We will cover hair bondage as well if time permits, but this class is suitable for any gender and hair length.

This past weekend I attended NEEH(U)4 (New England Erotic Hypnosis un-conference) and it was a fascinating and delightful weekend. But let me back up a moment… I have been curious about hypnosis on several levels for a couple of years now but I have been known to really take my time taking little sips of something and letting the taste sit on my tongue and seeing how I like it and then maybe even assimilating it and letting it simmer for a while before going back for another bite. That is how my love of whips and rope came along .. slowly and deliberate stages that took years to develop and are still growing gradually and with great respect and care.

I have also been known to get curious about something and then dive off the high board into the deep end of the pool by purchasing every single book and video and anything else I can possibly find on the topic (because I have to have it ALL so I can be sure I won’t miss something important) and in so doing COMPLETELY overwhelming myself to the point that I look at this pile of crap in from of me and I have absolutely NO IDEA where to start. That was the case last year when I first decided to check out hypnosis. I totally overwhelmed myself and decided there was WAY too much to learn and I was not in a place where I could focus enough time and mental resources to do it right … so I walked away temporarily vowing to come back at a later date.

I suppose I should further explain why it interests and calls to me. Well on a bunch of levels. First I truly love the idea of helping people and with hypnosis there are so many ways you can do that. Eliminating self-limiting beliefs, overcoming destructive habits like smoking, weight loss, phobias, etc. I truly enjoyed my training through the Coaches Training Institute and feel that learning therapeutic hypnosis could only enhance my ability to be a great coach.

I also love the idea that I could simply use it to help my pro domme clients be able to drop into an experience more quickly, and deeply and to then add fuller dimensions to the session by using the powers of their own subconscious mind to create their hottest fantasies. (We can do things in hypnosis that would cross ethical or legal lines for typical professional play) There’s no law against imagining it .. right? Oh and did I mention how hot and sexy it is to get into someone’s mind and ramp up their desire and the sexiness of their experience? Yeah .. very hot! And well hell if some of my pro domme clients wanted to slide some therapeutic stuff in so that we can do a double whammy I think that would be a total home run!

I also am looking ahead to the days when I will not be able to strut around in 4 inch heels cracking whips and slinging rope (although part of me hopes that is a VERY LOOOONG way off!) but thinking that I would still be able to do hypnotism and possibly even create some mp3s to sell well into my retirement. So yeah, this has loads of short term and far reaching possibilities. But .. where to begin?

Back to NEEH(U) where I found an amazing community of very giving very knowledgeable folks who are patient and kind and reassuring about helping a nervous newbie who is fretting about safety and all sorts of other concerns. I joked that when I learned to throw my whips I could practice in trees ad pillows until I KNEW my skills were top notch but hypnosis doesn’t work on trees (although I could make a sub believe he is a tree .. uhhh ok digressing).

Anyway, I had a truly amazing weekend and got a great deal of actual practice and had tremendously helpful feedback from a lot of amazing folks and I am now truly hooked on expanding my skills. In fact I am looking for a few local practice peeps that can be available with very little notice midweek days or evenings (basically when I find a hole in my schedule. Ok .. so there are times in my job where political correctness goes out the damn window and I tread into very nasty, dirty waters while playing out fantasies with clients. So it sounds to me like you two may have explored a little dominant / submissive play if she likes to be controlling.  If I wanted to introduce a “gag” to someone that might freak out about it .. I might try something less scary looking first .. like a knotted scarf something similar by explaining to her that it “would make me feel even more submissive and helpless if I couldn’t speak”  or “the thought of not being able to call for help really turns me on”  (insert your own best explanation here) and then pull the scarf out from somewhere close.  If she is cool with that … then a next time or couple weeks later you can maybe bring it to the next level.  If the scarf freaks her out .. then … well it was less scary looking than a REAL ball gag .. know what I mean?

So last night I got to try out the scarf gag with my girlfriend so here is a little synopsis of the experience:
