Ahhh spring, glorious spring has finally sprung, after a really long cold winter in the Hudson Valley! The world is coming alive again and it is a time for renewed hope and energy, not to mention a boost in most people’s libidos! I don’t know about any of you but I almost always get hornier during “rutting season” and more sensually sadistic to my wonderful slaves and clients.

It seems that the economy is also slowly recovering after a frighteningly sluggish period. I still see tons of signs advertising “economic stimulus sales” to help you get more “bang for your buck”!

Wow, what an awesome evening! Brett took me out for a nice seafood dinner at River Station overlooking the Hudson at sunset and then to the Bardavon Opera house to see a dance performance by Momix.

Although located right in downtown Poughkeepsie, I had never been to the  Bardavon before. It has been open since 1869, is the oldest opera house in New York State and is a truly lovely old building.  I had also never heard of Momix before and our 4th row balcony seats gave us a marvelous view in this cozy but very comfortable venue. 

I watched in rapt fascination, mesmerized by the grace and beauty of these truly unique and beautiful performances.  There were of course wild and colorful costumes, as well as spectacular lighting. But one of the things that delighted me most (beside watching the dancers) was discovering that quite a few of the songs used for the dance are already on my Ipod! Artists such as Dead Can Dance, Peter Gabrial, Baka Beyond and Brent Lewis made me feel right at home. It was like they were dancing to one of my dungeon playlists! 

The combination of beautiful music, incredible dance and surreal lighting effect & imagery was stellar. I am embedding a video and including a review I found on YouTube because nothing I can say can do them justice.  If you ever get an opportunity to see them.. do it.   They were really amazing!

So this week I did a hell of a lot of driving, mostly to help my niece with stuff. Monday I took her to Long Island to get a copy of her birth certificate and to visit a good friend of hers, but while there I got to see my sister, deliver her birthday gift a bit late, have dinner with my sweetheart AND spend some time with my dear friend Dave. Whew!! We got back late but it was a super day. Tuesday & Thursday I spent time with my favorite kid… and Friday it was off to New Jersey for the day with my niece again to get another piece of important paperwork squared away.

I was so happy to finally get home Friday night and find my sweetheart already there. Gosh I love that guy and it is so great coming home to him. He is the most romantic guy I have ever dated and I love how much he makes me laugh!! Friday night we just did dinner and snuggled in between me running Nadia to the mall and back for the Twilight party. (She is a HUGE fan, and it trying to convert me to being as obsessed with Rob Pattinson as she is).

Saturday morning my sweetheart woke me up and slipped me into some leather mitten cuffs and proceeded to tease and torment me deliciously for the next couple of hours. Oh My God that was awesome!! I would share more details but I a think I prefer to relish them in private.

That afternoon, (when we finally crawled out of bed) it was a truly beautiful day so we took a walk into town while Nadia roller bladed along, drank tea / coffee in a quaint little shop and enjoyed the sunshine and fresh spring air like young lovers. Then we went to see the new Nicholas Cage film “Knowing”, cuddled and ate popcorn.

Tonight that romantic guy of mine says he has a very special evening planned for me and I am totally excited! I will fill you in soon! I hope all my readers are having as wonderful a weekend as I am!

The old saying says this can’t be done, and I am not really sure why my last several posts all have an “animal” theme, I swear I am kinky but not THAT kinky! But a long lost stray dog showed up on my doorstep this week and needed to be taught a few lessons.

To begin with I had to teach the horny little mutt to heel because he kept trying to hump my damn leg! Sheesh!!  He finally chilled out with that when I pulled out the elastrator and popped bands onto each nipple and swore his cock would be next if he didn’t behave.  It seems he wasn’t too keen on the idea of being neutered.

Anyway, I considered keeping him as a pet but he was not nearly housebroken enough and I simply do not have the time or patience to go there. Still it made for a really fun afternoon of puppy play! I attached a small gallery below:

I was very saddened to receive word today D’Yquem, beloved Rottweiler of my dear friend Master R of La Domaine Esemar, has been compassionately put to rest after a battle with cancer. D’Yquem, who is named after one of the finest French wine chateaux, well known for their incredible sauternes, was every bit as sweet as his namesake.   Y’Quemmy (pronounced “Kemmy”) was a wonderfully good natured teddy bear who brought a lot of happiness to those who knew him over the course of his eleven years.

He was credited with being the “real Master of the house” on the La Domaine website and I will never forget that he was the first one to eagerly greet me when I visited there for the first time several years ago. I have many other fond memories Y’Quemmy. Master and I often took long walks in the woods with D’Yquem bounding along chasing the wildlife or watching him crashing and splashing into the lake to fetch a ball. He was rather fond of herding my poor little shih tzu “FooFoo” when we would visit and he absolutely LOVED to play tug of war with anyone foolish enough to pick up his thick ropey toy. I vividly remember my week long dog sitting adventure where my job was to keep the fire lit and feed the dog. He would get organic chicken dogs for breakfast and cooked millet or oatmeal with soy at night! Hell I rarely cook for the men in my life but it was nothing but the best for Master’s best boy! In fact one of my favorite photos of him was in the large tub with two lovely naked female slaves bathing him on their knees.  It was a tough life but someone had to live it.

Finally, I truly loved it when Master R would play guitar and sing and one of the songs I loved best was his adorable tribute; “If I only had thumbs” one line of which goes on to claim; “… what a friend I would be! I could get my own dog food … let myself out to pee.” 

I wish to send my sincerest condolences to Master R and Mistress Collette at this very sad time. D’Yquem will definitely be missed and I am sure that life at La Domaine just won’t be the same without him.

I was truly delighted to be given a sneak peak at David Lawrence’s latest offering: “ReBound”, (although I truthfully would have ordered it sight unseen based on how much I enjoyed his first book “Bound”). 

I “oohed” and “ahhed” all the way through this latest volume because I LOVE so many things about this exciting book!  It has a seemingly endless array of stunning black & white photographs with an occasional beautiful color print for spice. 

He has captured the essence of each of these beautiful ladies while bound in his artistically inspiring rope work ranging from the simple but elegant to complex suspensions!

I also enjoyed David’s choice of a wide variety of locations, both indoor and outdoor. Everything from a defunct state penitentiary, to city rooftops, from Hollywood mansions, to NYC lofts, a ranch in Austin TX and the woods in Seattle and so much more!

Wow I had a really wonderful time yesterday at the Feb Rope Share! First off, spending time with two of my favorite fellow femme dommes was truly marvelous.  Troy is definitely one of my best friends in all the world and I have always enjoyed spending time with Yin as well, so  to spend three hours teaching rope along side them, was a marvelous experience.  We had a fairly small gathering of other pro dommes but I greatly enjoyed meeting them all and sharing some exquisite rope time with them. 

My darling Brett graciously offered his body to me to demo on as I went over some full & partial suspension stuff with two of the ladies while Troy and Yin worked with the others for an hour or so.  Then we took a short break to enjoy a snack and some conversation.  Later on in the afternoon Troy and Yin demoed 2 different arm binder styles on the other two gentlemen demo bottoms who then offered up their genitals for some cock and ball bondage time.  I jumped up to teach my favorite classic CBT tie including the parachute which is always a lot of fun for me!  :)

I had such a good time that I cannot wait until the next share that I will be able to attend but because of other scheduling conflictions and previous commitments that looks like it won’t be until May.  But then that would be cool too because then it will help get me even more pumped and excited about Shibaricon!!   (Wooohooo!!)
