The Art of Rope Bondage
Leather cuffs are fun, but there is nothing
like the feel of rope sliding through my hands, as I lovingly

Corporal is definitely a favourite of mine
although I much prefer the term "percussion play".
To me punishment is a very negative term and while I enjoy

now and then, I do not necessarily see this activity as
a punishment and I do NOT use it as a means of correcting

really punishment is it?).

This will be a longer explanation so that
I can tell you a bit about my feelings on this subject,
the way I approach it and the reasons for my fascination
and enjoyment of it.
From the time we are very young most of us
were taught that anything having to do with our asses is

Conscious Breathing

I have been fascinated with breath play ever
since my first sub experience. My First Dom placed two fingers
on my throat, applied a little bit of pressure and dropped
me to my knees instantly! I was hooked! I was in awe of
the effect that it had and the sensations it created as
well as the idea that he could so easily control my every
breath. I had to learn more!
I begged him to teach me the technique and
it was really quite simple. The method he used and has taught
me doesn't actually involve choking or compression of the
windpipe. It is compression of the carotid arteries, a very
similar technique as the one used by police and medics to
restrain people, or the "sleeper hold" made famous
by wrestlers.
I have heard so many people tell me that there
is no safe way to do breath play so I did a survey of a
bunch of kink aware professionals on the net and basically
I was told the biggest dangers are: 1.) applying too much
pressure and crushing the windpipe (which isn't necessary,
a little pressure does the trick and 2.) doing it on older
people who may have arterial blockages that could come loose
even with a little pressure and cause a stroke. That sounded
valid enough so I refrain from practicing my little "neck
trick" on older clients, instead if they are interested
in breath play I go for plan B!
Smothering. Yeah sounds scary I know but it
can be very, very erotic (lol) especially the way I do it.
: ) My favorite method is to pinch off the nose and then
cover the clients whole mouth with my own so that I can

Whew OK back to my article (got carried away
for a second there and lost my train of thought). Anyway
with either of those methods I can watch the subs face the
whole time and monitor for signs of trouble and know what
is going on with him/her. I feel it is very important to
be able to see his or her eyes so that I can tell exactly
how deep he is going and know when to let the pressure off.
The feeling is hard to describe and I have
noticed the effect manifests itself differently from person
to person. When it is done to me, I feel a momentary flash
of panic, which I guess is the body's natural reaction to
decreased blood flow to the brain, but then there is this
glorious feeling of free falling and then an amazing feeling
of floating and ecstasy. My body goes limp and I begin to

There is one other form of breath control
that I have recently begun to dabble in. I attended an Ecstatic
Breathing seminar at Black Rose '99 that was given by a
Robert Sheavely (God I hope I spelled his name right) Anyway
it was one of the best seminars I have ever been privileged
to attend. I won't go into a lot about the class but I will
say that he is associated with the Body
Electric School based in Oakland CA and they are well
worth finding out more information about. I plan to attend
one of their workshops in April next year and look forward
to it very much!!
Through rhythmic conscious breathing he was
able to guide us to a state of super increased energy within
the body, then showed us a way to channel that energy into
an altered state of consciousness. It was an absolutely
amazing feeling that was even more powerful than conventional
orgasm. I have recently begun teaching this method to a
few select clients and they have all enjoyed it very much.
