Oh my gosh! I managed another trip around the sun on this 26th day of January – this one starting my 59th! Yeah I can’t believe it either! I sure as hell do not FEEL<\/em> 59, in fact with all the treadmill time I have been putting in I actually feel like I am in the best shape, if not of my life, then at least the last 20 years! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I actually had gained a bit of weight after I quit smoking about 15 years ago but I knew that if I stayed the course I would be way better off for it. I lost my mom to lung cancer when she was only 58, and she made me swear to her on her death bed that I would not go out like that. I am proud to say that I not even tempted to sneak one after all these years and I am sure that she would be very happy about that and I am finally back to my “pre-quit smoking weight” and still going down. Yay!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Speaking of happy and not feeling (or acting) my age – HOLY SHIT!! I just bought tickets to see the MOST AMAZING CONCERT LINE UP OF MY LIFE<\/em>!! The “When We Were Young” festival in Las Vegas Oct 22 and 23! (yes both freaking days! – because – I simply HAD<\/em> TO!) I have been literally vibrating with excitement ever since I snatched up tickets from Stub Hub and then booked airfare and a hotel. This is costing an obscene amount of money and part of me thinks I am insane and well – part of me also knows that life is way too fucking short NOT to pursue MY FREAKING BLISS whenever possible, and this show sounds like it is going to be totally AMAZING<\/em>! LIKE most awesome pop punk emo line up EVER! Check this out! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

At last count there were 65 bands on 3 stages for 12 hours per day. Same line up both days – which is truthfully why I had to go both days because I know there are going to be some hard decisions to make about which of the three bands to see in each time slot! At least with 2 days of passes I have a shot at seeing ALL my favorites and at leats 2\/3 of all the acts that will be there! Of course, I am bringing my favorite gender neutral concert buddy and their boyfriend and spending 3 nights so it should be an amazing weekend! At least 10 of the bands at this event are on my current all time favorites list so I can literally hardly wait! (Like seriosly is it almost Oct yet?) <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I am telling myself that this is TOTALLY worth maxing 2 of my credit cards for and yet I am a teensy bit anxious about that – Lol. That was a BIT MORE impulsive and expensive than I usually allow myself. So that said – if you are reading this and thinking “Hmmm. I sure could use a little fun with Mistress Suzanne right about now – do please drop me a line and let’s have a good time. I am feeling totally recharged after my warm sunny vacation and I would love to have some fun with you. (wink!) I may even treat you to my newest favorite playlist as an added torture! LOL Hahaha!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Okay, I am off to celebrate my Birthday with my sweetheart and some of my chosen family. Special hugs and shout outs to those of you that remembered and sent me texts and emails with birthday wishes! It touches my heart that you remember me! \ud83d\ude42 Woohoo! I am truly loving life right now! <\/p>\n\n\n\n
