Gotta stay hydrated right? 🙂

I told one of my friends that the BEST part was I could eat all the carbs I wanted yesterday totally guilt free! I even grabbed a pic of my pre race carb / hydration ritual combo!

But the actual best part was that you helped me crush my goal by raising $540 to support The Little Guild! Thank you again – so much for supporting me in this! Now I need some hot tub time to soak my sore bones. <grin>

A few pics – and a couple vids –

Waved and blew my Brett a smooch as I flew by – lol! <wink>

The guy that took the top fundraiser award just happened to be on the board of Little Guild – I came in 2nd for individual fundraisers thanks to YOUR help!

Just chugging a long with my shadow – listening to my tunes!

26 mins into the race – just hitting the 2 mile mark – heart rate definitely up there but managing it.

I was keeping pace with the gal in the grey shirt for most of the race. I had slowed down a bit here to catch my breath.

I had been running out of steam right before this video and was walking it a bit when the gal I had been pacing with throughout the race came up along side me and told me to pick it up. That was the encouraging boost I needed and it felt awesome to cross the finish line with her!! 😀

Thanks again for your support!
