Last week Mz Suzanne gave me the hardest challenge yet.. I have found a great deal of personal satisfaction and happiness being Josie, in so many ways. But this week, Mz Suzanne asked me to put\u00a0 aside the \u201ckink\u201d factor of Josie aside, and embrace behaviors to be truly femme each day; to sincerely reach inside myside and link up with that true side of myself.<\/p>\n

I stopped by the mall on the way home from work, and went to Bath & Body Works. Mz Suzanne suggested experiencing the benefits of a soothing bath. I ended up choosing Japanese Cherry Blossom\u00a0 bubble bath and body lotion. I didn\u2019t feel awkward, or uncomfortable. No one was gawking at me. I was just another customer. It makes me wonder why I feel apprehensive, going to shop at \u201cwomanly\u201d stores. I thought I should make my choice based on being as\u00a0 pretty and feminine as possible, instead of my own personal likes or dislikes about the scent.
\nI already keep my body shaved, so I didn\u2019t have to prepare that way at all. I drew my bath and settled in. I decided to bring my tablet so I could start reading articles about makeup application,\u00a0 and improve my techniques. Since I always wear nail polish on my toes, I decided to start there. I was mortified! to discover how wrong I\u2019ve been. No primer! No clear finish!\u00a0 Well, I\u2019ve found a really enjoyable way to pamper myself and learn some new things J\u00a0\u00a0 I finished my bath and applied my new body lotion; it felt so good. I felt soft, and I smelled pretty. I\u2019m disappointed; I have my panties, but I don\u2019t have a nightie to wear\u2026back to the store tomorrow!\"20160315_180159_resized-150x150\"I stopped by Walmart today after work. I found a darling purple nightgown to wear to bed! It has beautiful lace at the neckline, and its very silky. I took another bath, and it feels so good\u00a0 against my skin, especially after the body lotion. Sooooo nice! I also picked up the foundation and clear coat for my nails. While I applied my polish, I decided to put on a specifically feminine type \u201cchick\u201d movie to watch, so I chose 27 Dresses on Netflix.\u00a0 I enjoyed it a lot more than I thought I would! Tomorrow after my batch I\u2019m going to file my fingernails and apply a nice clear coat; I can\u2019t wait! I\u2019m really feeling very pretty, and I love being Josie even more than before. It\u2019s wonderful.
\nIt\u2019s been a very eventful week. Placing feminine touches in my daily activities has made me feel wonderful. I\u2019m a little envious (although it\u2019s hard work!) of how a woman can treat herself; the\u00a0 baths, lotions, pampering pedicures, silky nighties against my skin\u2026\u2026I really enjoy feeling pretty, and I really feel like Josie now. Not just something I do, but something I AM. Josie is me; not just an alter-ego. I feel free; I feel pretty, and I feel NORMAL\u00a0 \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n
