So, OMG — what an amazing week I had attending KinkyCaribbean at Hedonism II in Negril, Jamaica sponsored by ConCations.com! I loved the entire trip start to finish (well, except for the blisters — my own fault; more on that later — ugh, lol).

I mentioned earlier that my dear friend Troy invited me to submit a proposal to teach at this year’s Kinky Caribbean aka KC event. I was nervous since I haven’t been teaching much in recent years, but I went for it — and was thrilled to be accepted to teach three classes: Foundational Flogging, a hands-on Sensual Single Tails class, and Conscious Breathwork. I’m really proud of how all of them went. Each had a good turnout, and from the feedback I got, people learned useful things for their kink journeys. What could be better than that?

Enjoying naked sunshine time on a tropical beach with a drink in your hand while making amazing new friends and visiting with already great friends, of course! That’s what Hedo and KC is all about!

My friends Rob and Snuggle traveled with me: they drove from the Capital Region of NY to pick me up in CT, stayed near JFK, and got up in the very early hours to get us to the airport. They also supported me by attending my classes, and Snuggle literally saved my feet by giving me her water shoes when my Tevas proved disastrous on wet, sandy terrain and I developed a few nasty blisters by day three!

They are truly amazing friends, and I’m looking forward to seeing them again in July at Summer WOW! I am sending them a HUGE added shout out and a billion thanks for helping me haul my very heavy guitar case LOADED with equipment all over kingdom come! I definitely know who to call if I ever need to move a body! (J/k – mostly!) 🙂

And of course, I’ve been a longtime fan and friend of Miss Troy Orleans — a brilliantly creative Domina — so it was a real treat to room with her during the event and come away still liking each other! That old saying about not knowing someone until you live with them can be true, but we had a lovely week together and we plan to do it again next year! Hooray!

I also met a fantastic goddess known as “KinkyPriestess” on Fetlife, and we bonded instantly. Her wild rainbow hair was the first thing I noticed — I had to tell her I loved it — and then we discovered we both have Quan Yin and Kali tattoos. What are the chances? We’re like sisters from another mother! She has joyful, vibrant energy, and I loved hanging out with her whenever we could. I truly hope our paths cross again before next year’s KC! I met so many wonderful attendees, presenters, and KC staff. I especially enjoyed spending time with one of the event organizers and his lovely wife who honored me by being my demo partner for the single-tail class. We also got to connect for a deliciously floaty scene involving floggers, whips and breath work on our last afternoon. It felt kind of magical and was a highlight of my week. 🙂

I got permission to share the pics without names and I am grateful because seeing their smiles in these pics makes me really happy. But that’s the thing about events like these — you have to be very careful what you post during that post event bliss state and be sure that they are ok with having you share your memories that involve them.

This beautiful young Domina, who goes by the name Queen_Darali8s on Fetlife, came to a couple of my classes and we hit it off really well! She travelled all the way from Belgium with her very sweet male slave and asked me to take this photo with her! Many people trusted me enough to ask for their first flogging or whipping during the Kinky Tastings event or the Tag Party. One generous woman even gave me half of her booked massage on the final Friday morning when my right hand was going numb from overuse before a whip-throwing class — an absolute godsend. Thank you, Kat! Her really sweet hubby had given me a wonderful massage with a side of caning earlier in the week and he has great hands! It was my only time I bottomed this week but I totally loved it!

I also attended several incredible classes by world-class presenters. Scott Smith led several intense, intimidating sessions but I only managed to make it to one – Abductions and Take Downs and that was really interesting and well done! I’ve been both intrigued and intimidated by him for over 20 years. I keep joking that bottoming to Scott is like scaling Mount Everest: an epic bucket-list thing I’m not sure I’m ready for. I chickened out this year and I am not sure I will be any closer to ready next year – haha!

I caught two classes by the remarkable Ms. Selina Minx — Cock and Ball Bondage and Sex Magick. Fascinating material; I want to learn SO much more! She clearly has deep knowledge and is a very talented pro domme — if you’re in LA and want to play, check her out.

I also attended a Professional Submission class because I liked the presenter, SubMissAnne, who also ran the Pony Play events. She’s another amazing woman with vast realms of experience — and a bona fide porn star!

I also went to Troy’s Geargasm class where a bunch of folks get to come and show off some of their coolest toys!! Wow there is some freaking cool stuff out there that I don’t have yet!! LOL!!
