I am still coming down from one of the most amazing 5 day vac-kink-tions I have ever had! It was truly a lovely experience from start to finish!

First it was held at my beloved Easton Mountain Lodge in Greenwich NY, where I have been attending workshops with the Body Electric School and other wonderful kink retreats for at least 20 years now. Every time I go the place gets better and better. The food is always wonderful, the accommodations are not exactly 5 star hotel level, but still quite comfortable and the grounds are epically beautiful.

I discovered this year that they had a GoFundMe campaign to get help with the cost of some new steps, and if you met a certain level you could have a little brass plaque with your chosen name on it added to the front of one of them. (Like the one below that has Barbara’s name on it. Barbara Carrellas is teaching The Urban Tantra Professionals program that I am excited to be attending in Nov and I have also known her probably 25 or more years now.

Anyway, I sent them enough to have two plaques added – one that will say “Nelson and Suze” to honor the memory of the time I spent at Easton with one of my favorite former partners, and one for my beloved massage teacher “Chester Mainard” who passed away is 2007 and is sorely missed by many. I am going to cry a bunch of happy memory tears when I see them. 🙂

Anyway, this most recent event – The Summer WOW, aka Weekend of Wickedness, is small, under 100 people. I think I was told that we had 73 this time, and there are always a lovely mix of familiar faces and some carefully vetted newcomers, thanks to Dale and De, who do an amazing job of weeding out potential drama makers and making sure everything runs smoothly. 🙂 They are truly freaking lovely people and I feel lucky to know them.

I attended this time (and 2 years ago) with a dear friend of mine that happens to be an incredible masochist and we played at least a bit every night of the event! This man can take some of the most intense CBT I have ever dished out – and come back for more. We were not allowed to take any pics in the dungeon but there is a pic out there of us after a “whip painting” class that I really enjoyed. I also got a LOT of quality relaxation and pool time in. which I really needed about now – thank you. 🙂

I got invited to a FemDom Tea party and we were asked to dress the part which was great fun. And it was truly lovely to connect and chat with some charming ladies.

And I got to do a bit of rope on a wonderful man that was volunteering as staff at Easton. He and I met at Easton a few years ago during a Body Electric retreat and he asked if I could do a little chest harness for him with the 15 foot or so piece of rope that he provided. LOL! It was a bit of a challenge to come if with a design that fit the rope he had, but I think this worked. I was a bit rusty with the Carrick bends but I think they added a bit of pizazz. Thanks Star Dancer!!

I do not bottom very much these days, and in fact the last time I bottomed was two years ago at this same event, to the same whip thrower, Master Dex. He is one of the best whip handlers I have ever had the privilege to meet and I was delighted he added me to his dance card Saturday night. (his dance card is ALWAYS full). It was a really lovely, fun, energetic scene. Dex is very skilled and reads me very well so he was okay with me not being cuffed, freely standing in front of him, turning as the mood struck and even dancing a bit as I used my breath to process his extremely (and annoyingly accurate) whip strikes. My nipples are still pissed 3 days later! I specifically asked him to keep the marks to a minimum because I am hoping to make it to Lake Compounce again in the not too distant future and I have had bottoming scenes lead to marks that took weeks to go away. But he was true to his word and used a nice big fairly fluffy popper that gave me some light marks on my chest, ass and back with great sting and memories, without a lot of damage. I can hardly wait to see him again next year! To see Master Dex in action check out his YouTube Channel .

So yes… all in all, it was awesome, delicious, memorable and sooo much fun! Summer WOW is my favorite kink event ever and I will strive to go every year! And always back to Easton when ever I can – like uhmmm really soon!

Because while I was attending WOW I discovered that there is another very cool sounding event happening ridiculously soon. July 20th – 26th Shamanic Kink Immersion – Midsummer Mysteries. My initial reaction was that there was no way I could do that so quickly either financially or energy, or mentally but I remembered another instance where I thought I couldn’t handle something that sounded truly amazing and my wonderful Brett just said – Why can’t you really do that? He is always my greatest supporter and biggest fan and I am beyond grateful for him in my life. So yes – I took a deep breath and decided to borrow from my “Oh shit emergency fund” and just jump into doing this event! I am already feeling challenged outside my comfort zone on a few levels. Ugh. But sometimes that can be a good thing right? I will keep you posted of course but that also means I have to now push session bookings off to the first week of Aug. But. I am going to be fired up with some hot, sexy new teachings in my tool kit.
