A tale of 2 sessions ….

It’s been a busy couple weeks here! First though – thanks SOO MUCH for all the emails, comments and texts of condolences on our sweet Lucky Boy. I know a lot of folks would say he’s just a freaking cat and geez you have 6 more, but who cares. Anyone that loves animals KNOWS every pet is special and Lucky was truly one of a kind.

So I finally got my car back after being without it for a month! Of course it turned out to be a freaking shorted wire which took the mechanic 3 hours to trace but he did it and I got my sweet little Versa home again for just under $800. LOL! Whew and hooray!

We did a couple more Appalachian Trail (AT) hikes in the last two weeks. The toughest one was the long stretch stretch between Bull’s Bridge and Mt. Algo – 7.5 miles with over 1800 feet of elevation gain. We had skipped this chunk in the spring because we didn’t feel ready to tackle such an intense hike then but we decided we needed to just get it over with recently. And maybe we are getting old but damn that was really damn tough and it took us a fair bit longer than my AllTrails app guesstimated it would, but we freaking did it!!

Glad we closed the gap and here is our tally for the 2023 season so far –

5/7   NYS Line to Bulls Bridge                                4.0mi    807.9ft

9/21 Bulls Bridge to Rt 341                        7.4mi    1,833.99ft

5/14 Rt 341 to St. John’s Ledges                         4.6mi    1,364.83ft

6/2   The Flats                                                         4.8mi    206.69ft

9/14 Silver Hill                                                        2.7mi     1,079.4ft

9/7   Pine Knob and Breadloaf                              2.5mi      810.37ft

9/26 Pine Knob to W. Cornwall Rd.             4.0mi    1,282.81ft

Total thus far: 30 miles 7,385.92 ft elevation

There are about 23 miles or so left of the AT in Connecticut and of course next piece heading north is another nearly 7 mile slog! So this week I am trying to rest up and mentally prepare for it. (Hahaha) Now that the cooler weather is here and the leaves will be changing – we should be able to get a few more good hiking days in before I quit for the year. I am definitely not an outdoor winter sports fan. 🙂

Also – managed to have a couple of fun long play sessions! One with one of my favorite boys who I am lucky enough to see regularly. He loves when I dress him up and push him hard with bondage, corporal punishment and nipple play! I am always impressed with how beautifully he suffers for me. 🙂 This week we very much enjoyed trying out the 2 new pairs of shoes that he picked up! I was impressed with how well they fit – and of course they looked terrific! Here are a few pics from that wonderful three hour session.

I also had a visitor that I saw for the first time 13 years ago! He had visited me way back in 2010 when I first bought my house and then he returned to his home down south. It was great that he managed a two hour visit while up in the area visiting some friends. We enjoyed several lovely bondage positions and loads of delicious violet wand play! He brought along a really lovely Wartenburg pinwheel that was especially pointy and fun – I’d love to add one to my collection! Check it out! Double Trouble Wheel Anyway – It was really great reconnecting with him and I definitely hope that we get to play again before another 13 years goes by.
