💬 A Few of Your Words
I asked “What’s one thing you wish more people understood about bondage or kink?“
Some of your comments just hit so beautifully, I had to share them.
- Being bi is a good thing!
- It’s such a thrill!
- Time and investment necessary to make the experience enjoyable for all
- The energy exchange between the rigger and bottom
- That it is OK for consenting adults to partake in and enjoy
- It’s not something weird or odd. In fact it’s very liberating in the sense there’s not much better when you enter that ‘sub-space’ and allow another to take complete control.
- Consenting kink is normal, we are not mentally disturbed
- It can be stimulating and FUN!
- Some of us were born that way and can’t explain the need/attraction to kink.
- Why people do it.
- That it’s not a taboo. It’s a wonderful addition to a healthy sex life
- That it is not a bad thing at all! Embrace it!
- That kink is in the individual’s mind so what makes them hot has to be discovered through communication and practice. With time and patience wonderful experiences can found…..
- It’s more than just leather, latex and rope. It’s also emotional, mental and even spiritual.
- That it is not all about pain. It’s about one persons submission to another in TPE. Allowing natural primal instincts to evolve.
- It’s just so hot
- Tim (from the past) no longer have functional e-mail – but woeking on it
- How wonderfully stress relieving it can be!
- That there is nothing un-normal about it
- How difficult it is to connect with a local kinkster when I have a physical handicap.
🖤 Final Thoughts
Doing this poll reminded me just how personal kink is and how much variety exists within something as seemingly simple as “being tied up.” Whether you’re into strict immobilization or gentle decorative rope, what matters most is consent, connection, and trust.
Thank you to everyone who participated. I might be running more polls soon (thinking about exploring corporal play next), so stay tuned—and keep getting kinky, safely and joyfully!
With rope burns and love,
