I’ve had a rough couple weeks following that last climb on the AT. It seems I’ve injured or inflamed a muscle leading to piriformis syndrome, aka sciatica, which, holy smokes, really hurts! But I finally broke down and went to my PCP, who sent me home with a couple of Rxs and some stretches to do. I am hoping it will be a distant memory soon, but in the meantime I am trying to take it a bit easier on my body than I usually do. 🙂

Other than that I’m having a wonderful holiday season! I got most of my shopping and wrapping done relatively early, and have managed to keep the stress and holiday drama to a minimum this year. I am getting better at releasing myself from some of my self-made emotional obligations, and trying to practice more self care when it comes to stressful people in my life. I can only do so much to help and I cannot fix everything, even if I’d like too (repeating that like a mantra is a good start- lol) Wish me luck keeping it that way going into 2024. (hahaha)

Brett and I took the train into NYC to see the Radio City Music Hall Christmas Spectacular together last Saturday. It was his first time but my 10th time since 2012 and I still love it! First row 3rd mezz center – my favorite seats in the house and the show is always fantastic. We of course checked out a few of the must see sites while we were there. It was insanely crowded because of how warm and close to Christmas it was but we still had fun. He says he likes to go to the city once every 5 years or so to help him remember why we only go to city once every 5 years or so. 🙂

I also got to spend time with my favorite young person, which almost always makes me happy. They helped us decorate the tree, and I helped them wrap things that they bought for others while we drank some holiday eggnog with a kick. Then we cozied up in the living room to watch their favorite holiday movie; “Home Alone”. The next morning they helped me throw a bunch of splashes of color in my hair – red, purple, magenta, etc. – a bit crazy but I love it! I’ll share a pic of that soon-ish Promise!

I had a bunch of wonderful sessions with some of my favorite submissives and playmates in the last couple weeks and I have several more booked next week and in the first couple weeks of January. No play photos this posting but I did get some amazing feedback that really made me smile. I absolutely LOVE when I can create such wonderfully memorable experiences for people. Seriously it warms my heart and reminds me that this is important work. 🙂
